ONSITE SECURITY & HAZARD ASSESSMENT

Scope: 

Comprehensive compliance review based on Vermont's State Bill H.259 and the implementation of a customized Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP). 


Methodology: 

The audit will be conducted using the following methods: 

    a. Document Review

    b. Employee Interviews

    c. Observation of workplace practices and procedures.

MANDATORY DOCUMENTATION:

Written Workplace Violence Prevention Plan (WVPP): 

Assess existing documentation and/or develop customized procedures for identifying and evaluating workplace violence hazards, correcting those hazards, and training employees on workplace violence prevention. 

Required elements:    

  a. Roles & Responsibilities

  b. Hazard Identification and Assessment

  c. Hazard Correction 

  d. Employee Training    

  e. Reporting Procedures 

  f. Incident Investigation

  g. Recordkeeping

  h. Review and Update

E-LEARNING: EMPLOYEE TRAINING PROGRAM

Objective: 

An engaging training program on the organization’s WVPP, meeting the requirements of Vermont H.259 and empowering everyone to contribute to a safe and healthy workplace.


Upon completion, employees will be able to: 

  a. Define workplace violence. 

  b. Identify workplace violence hazards.      

  c. Report workplace violence incidents & concerns. 

  d. Apply de-escalation techniques. 

  e. Respond to workplace violence emergencies. 

  f. Understand their rights and responsibilities.
